Instructional is an in-house T-Ball and coach's-pitch league for boys AND girls age 4, 5 and 6. The player must be 4 years of age by January 1 in order to be eligible. If the player turns 7 before April 30, that player must play in the Single A league, unless this would be the first year of participation. The format is a combination of coach's-pitch and hitting off a tee. Emphasis is placed on introducing players to the fundamentals of the game in a fun, non-competitive setting. Games are played on Saturday mornings, locations TBA. All players will need to have their own baseball mitt to participate. Players in this league are NOT EVALUATED.
WYSI sponsors 5 in-house baseball leagues. The in-house leagues range from instructional coach pitch to competitive player pitch. All in-house leagues will focus on teaching the players the fundamentals of the game. The in-house leagues are open participation (i.e.; no tryouts). However, WYSI does conduct evaluations in an attempt to keep teams evenly matched. In order to play up a league, players must attend evaluations and meet minimum age or grade requirements.
The in-house leagues are arranged as follows:
