Westfield Youth Football Information Meeting
(Wednesday, May 28th, 2008)
There will be an informational meeting regarding Westfield Youth Football for the upcoming 2008 season to be held on Wednesday, May 28th in the Oak Trace Elementary School Cafeteria. The meeting is intended for parents (not players) to collect information and ask questions regarding the upcoming football season.
For parents of in-house players in grades 1st - 6th, the meeting will be from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
For parents of 5th and 6th graders interested in trying out for the travel team, there will be an informational meeting held from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, also in the cafeteria.
Football registrations will be accepted.
Westfield Youth Football Camp July 14 - 17, 2008
The Westfield Youth Football Camp is for boys entering grades K through 8 in the fall of 2008. This is NOT a contact camp for grades K - 6 (grades 7 & 8 will wear helmet and shoulder pads) or a conditioning camp. Individual, group and team instruction will help young Shamrocks to develop their football skills. If you have never before played organized football, don't worry. The Shamrock high school, freshmen and middle school football staff will work with all boys to help them improve their skill level and fundamentals.

Football Drills on Wednesdays beginning June 4th (free!)
Beginning on June 4th through July 9th (except on June 25th), there will be organized football drills and conditioning games on Wednesday evenings at Shamrock Springs (SSES) from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. The drills are open to all kids that plan to play WYF tackle football this fall. This is offered by Mark Robinson and the travel football team coaches and the football committee for free (absolutely no cost). Contact Mark Robinson for more information.
Westfield Youth Football Night - Friday, Sept. 12, 7:00 pm
Join us on Friday night, September 12th for Youth Football night as the Rocks take on Brownsburg. All WYF players will be recognized during the game.
