Background Checks Required

If you’re looking to volunteer or coach one of our sports, you’ll need to complete a background check.

NEW - WYSI Backyard Lacrosse

This is an opportunity for returning players to get the stick back in their hands, and to introduce the game to new players. The primary goal is to play lacrosse. Coaches will be available to introduce the basic skills of lacrosse, but the focus will be playing age-appropriate lacrosse in an informal, laid-back setting. Backyard Lacrosse will be open to 1st through 8th graders. Full lacrosse equipment* will be required for 3rd through 8th graders to play in games. If you do not have full equipment, no worries! Come out anyway. We will have some equipment, and players can participate in fun, non-contact drills.

Backyard Lacrosse starts on September 2nd and will be on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 at Freedom Trail until it is too cold. Depending on weather, date and times will change accordingly.

Registration is required, but there is no cost or obligation to participate.
