NFL Mascots vs. Peewee Football Game

WYSI Football is honored to participate in the NFL Mascots vs. Peewee Football Game being held at Carmel High School Football Stadium on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Gates open at 4:00pm for NFL Play 60 Zone, Colts In Motion traveling museum, and autograph opportunities from several NFL mascots for all attendees to enjoy. Kickoff for the game is at 6:30pm. Westfield’s team will play along with teams from Carmel, Avon, and Zionsville. For halftime, the Indianapolis Colts Junior Cheerleaders will be performing.

Cause: Cure SMA is a non-profit dedicated to the treatment and cure of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the number one genetic cause of death for infants. Graham Vollmer, from Westfield, Indiana has been battling SMA since birth. Graham and his family were successful this spring in getting legislation passed to add SMA to Indiana's newborn screening. This will ensure all babies are tested at birth, can begin early treatment, and will lead to a longer and healthier life.

Ticket Sales: This family-friendly event is perfect for fans of all ages. Tickets are $5 prior to the event and will be available for $7 at the door. Children 2 years old and under are free. All individuals, excluding children under 2 years old, must have a ticket to enter. To purchase your tickets please visit www.colts.com/mascotgame. The Carmel Dads Club will provide concessions, offering a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase.

Why Purchase: Aside from the obvious charitable contributions that will make a difference in the lives of others, the four Peewee teams are competing against each other for ticket sales. The team that has the most tickets purchased in support of them will be awarded a $1,000 grant for their youth league. So, even if you cannot attend the game please consider purchasing tickets as all proceeds go toward great causes.

Note from the Commissioner: I urge you to support this initiative on behalf of WYSI and the community of Westfield. As a lifelong resident of this great city, I am continually inspired by the generosity of our community. This is an opportunity for us once again to show how much heart Westfield has. Come out and support our boys as they support a cause bigger than themselves.

GO SHAMROCKS!
